Thank you for teaching me A Maths over the past two years. When I first attended Mind Stretcher, I was a constant F9 student and had no hope I would be able to do well for A Maths. However, your teaching enabled me to push myself and allowed me to continuously strive for the best. This helped me not give up, and I began learning with a hopeful heart. I remembered that during my first ever A Maths exam, I was just hoping for a pass, as it would be the first time I would pass a maths-related exam. Yet I was very surprised that I scored an A1 for that exam. This helped me to believe in myself as I maintained that grade for the rest of my secondary school life. Thank you for your support and wonderful teaching!

The teacher at Mind Stretcher is an extremely benevolent educator and a role model for my classmates to emulate. Not only is she kind and patient when covering new concepts, but she constantly shares her vocabulary bank and provides invaluable tips to help us excel in our essays. As a result of her passionate teaching, I managed to improve from a C5 grade in Secondary 1 to an A1 grade in Secondary 4. Apart from diligently preparing comprehension papers from other schools for us to practise, she consistently provides a myriad of vocabulary expressions for us to memorise and use in our essays. Because of this, my essay score jumped to 26/30 in my prelims, which is an extraordinary achievement for someone from a Chinese-speaking background like me. Additionally, she requires us to scan our examination papers so she can better understand our weaknesses and work on addressing them. Furthermore, she goes above and beyond by highlighting misused vocabulary in editing and explaining improper word classes and noun forms, which is not part of the Mind Stretcher curriculum. In summary, she is undoubtedly one of the best teachers I’ve had in my school life. I sincerely hope she is offered a larger platform to inspire minds and nurture our nation’s future.

My MS teacher has helped me understand A-Math concepts that I couldn't really grasp before. He also taught me great methods that allowed me to solve math problems faster. This helped me a lot because I did better in my prelims than in WA2! What I really like about him is that he is extremely patient and would explain a problem in different ways if I didn’t understand the first time. He's also very approachable and friendly, so I feel comfortable seeking help. But most of the time, I don’t even need to, haha, because he comes to the students first! Last but not least, he explains everything thoroughly and breaks down complex ideas into more understandable parts. This really helped me because I didn’t have a very strong foundation in A-Math when I first joined his class.
