Exciting World of Debate
Our Debate curriculum caters to both the new and experienced debaters. It introduces the fundamentals of argumentation, logical reasoning, rebuttal, strategy, case preparation, and includes a mini-debate showdown! In addition, you will learn the subtle art of persuasion and impromptu speaking in a fun and engaging way.
Programme Objectives
Logical Reasoning & Argumentation
Our Master Speakers debating activities encourages critical thinking, facilitates the construction of logical arguments and the development of speaking and debating flair. A range of interesting and contemporary topics will be covered.
Building Cases with Confidence
Hone research, organisation and presentation skills and develop convincing cases. Grasp the techniques of engaging and persuasive speech delivery, and deliver impactful arguments with confidence. Model Master Speakers debate speeches are provided.
Teamwork & Collaboration
Work closely with others to prepare arguments, anticipate counterarguments, and support each other during debates. We teach the value of diverse viewpoints, the importance of constructive feedback, and the skills necessary for working effectively in a team.
