学汇乐’s fun and engaging Primary Integrated Chinese programme is designed to help students develop a strong foundation in the Chinese language and to give them a head start in the language.
In addition to covering all the examinable components at lower primary levels, our Primary Integrated Chinese programme helps students develop a strong foundation in Hanyu Pinyin and the fundamental linguistic skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. A progressive and systematic approach is adopted to help students level up in their composition writing – students will first practise crafting sentences, before progressing to paragraphs, and then finally completing a full composition on their own.
The syllabus is carefully structured to ensure that it is optimally balanced and diverse in coverage. Stimulating picture books with engaging content are used as a pedagogic tool to foster students’ love for the Chinese language.
Through our Primary Chinese 4Cs programme, students will learn how to structure their Chinese compositions methodically, craft precise answers to comprehension questions, tackle cloze passages and ace their oral and listening comprehension.
In the process, students will master the use of Chinese words in the prescribed vocabulary list for primary schools. Under the guidance of our experienced teachers, students will also be exposed to ample opportunities to hone their oral and listening skills. 学汇乐’s unique 3-step method will also be imparted to students to help them tackle various Chinese Reading Comprehension questions with ease.
Students will gain a good and solid understanding of how to effectively tackle these 4Cs of the Chinese examination. As these 4Cs are heavily-weighted components of the Chinese examination, acing them is crucial in getting an overall A or A+ grade in the Chinese paper in schools and the PSLE.
