We are looking for a Master Speaker Subject Head to take our public speaking programmes to new heights by leading curriculum development, mentoring coaches, and collaborating across departments to drive growth.
What You’ll Do:
1. Curriculum Development and Innovation for Ages 7-18
As the Subject Head, you will design and write innovative curricula that focus on age-appropriate, engaging, and effective public speaking programmes for students aged 7 to 18. Your curriculum will be built around both The Master Speakers Way and SPEAK framework, ensuring students develop critical communication skills such as:
- Sensitive Listening – Understanding and empathising with others.
- Precise Communication – Clearly articulating ideas and information.
- Ethical Contribution – Collaborating and respecting diverse viewpoints.
- Analytical Presentation – Asking insightful questions and thinking critically.
- Knowledgeable Speaking – Sharing information confidently and accurately.
2. Team Development and Regular Audits
Your leadership will extend to our talented team of coaches. You will ensure they are trained in the latest public speaking methodologies, integrating the SPEAK framework into their lessons.
- Provide regular training and development to ensure high-quality teaching standards.
- Conduct quality audits of coaching sessions to assess performance and maintain consistency across all classes.
- Offer mentorship and feedback to coaches, helping them grow and refine their teaching methods.
3. Team Building and Development
This role will involve actively shaping a high-performing team of coaches. You will be responsible for recruitment, team building, and creating an environment that encourages both personal and professional growth.
- Lead recruitment and selection processes for new coaches.
- Foster an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Implement strategies to ensure the team remains motivated, engaged, and aligned with the company’s vision.
4. Teaching and Role Modelling Best Practices
While your primary role is to lead, you will also put theory into practice by teaching public speaking classes to demonstrate best practices and ensure the curriculum is effectively delivered.
- Lead by example in demonstrating the integrated teaching methods and the SPEAK framework.
- Deliver high-impact lessons that reflect Master Speakers’ commitment to student success.
5. Collaboration with Operations and Marketing
This role is pivotal in driving the growth of Master Speakers. You will work closely with Operations and Marketing teams to enhance the business, grow our student base, and increase brand visibility.
- Collaborate on business strategies to expand the programme offerings and attract new students.
- Work with the Marketing team to create campaigns that highlight the value of public speaking education.
- Align curriculum and coach development with overall business goals.

What We’re Looking For:
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Communication, Public Speaking, Education, or related fields (preferred).
- Certifications: Recognised certifications in public speaking or coaching (e.g., Toastmasters International, LAMDA).
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in public speaking, education, or related fields.
- Proven experience in curriculum development, team leadership, and mentorship.
- A track record of collaborating with teams to achieve business and educational goals.
Skills & Attributes:
- Expertise in public speaking pedagogy and curriculum design for students ages 7 to 18.
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
